Classes descriptions:
Boxing/Kickboxing:
In this hybrid class students train in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Full Contact Karate to improve angles, footwork, kicking, kneeing and punching. The techniques demonstrated in this high cardio class teaches students how to strike properly and defend themselves in the striking zone.
Conditioning:
This high intensity 30 minutes uses sport specific calisthenics, drills, core and bodyweight exercises designed to build students endurance, strength, coordination, and flexibility.
Mixed Brazilian Jiu Jitsu:
Students learn the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through technical instruction, positional drills, and partner rolling. Classes teach students how to manipulate their opponent by utilizing proper technique, leverage and strategy. This class is open to students of any skill level.
MMA:
Students learn to combine and apply the different skills from their Boxing/Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling classes into an "MMA" format. Classes cater to student need, with content focusing on transitions, clinch fighting and submission grappling techniques.
Submission Wrestling:
In this class students will learn clinching fighting, takedowns and throws by combining the techniques used in Freestyle & Greco Roman Wrestling with submission holds used in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
sATURDAY BJJ Rewind:
This BJJ open mat class is designed for students to come in from 1:00 to 2:30pm on Saturday and rework techniques they have previously learned in the Mixed BJJ class. PLEASE NOTE: The onsite instructor does not demonstrate any new techniques.
Open Mat:
Students are encouraged to use this uninstructed time to rework BJJ techniques, punch a heavy bag or relax and pick the instructors brain for tips on how to improve their overall training.
Kidjitsu:
Children will learn the basic fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through technical instruction, positional drills, partner rolling and focus drills. (GI required)
Advanced Kidjitsu: White-Yellow Belts & Above
In this class students will learn more advanced techniques and submissions. The advanced class is open to White-Yellow belts and above on Saturday's only.
